Solar Rescue

Your installer is gone. Your solar is still yours.

Titan Solar Power, the valley's second-largest installer from 2020 to 2023, closed in June 2024 and lost its license that July. Freedom Forever went to Chapter 7 liquidation on August 7, 2026. Arcadia, Empire, Universal Solar Direct and Vision are gone too. The panels on your roof still work, your manufacturer warranties still count, and a licensed electrician can get the system producing again.

What you still keep

Even if the company that sold it is gone

  • Equipment warranties. Panels and inverters carry manufacturer warranties, usually 10 to 25 years, that run independently of your installer.
  • Your production data. Monitoring accounts (Enphase, SolarEdge, Tesla and others) can be transferred to you or to a new servicer.
  • Your net-metering rate. Systems from before 2016 keep their grandfathered retail-rate credit through 2035; everything since sits on one of NV Energy's NMR-405 tiers (95, 88, 81 or today's 75% of retail), locked for twenty years at the address. A like-for-like repair does not change it. Adding capacity moves you to the current tier, so we tell you before we touch anything that affects it.
  • Your rights under Nevada law. The Nevada State Contractors Board's Residential Recovery Fund exists for exactly this, and the Board now runs a dedicated solar investigation unit: about one in three of its complaints is solar. Ask us how to file.

What Solar Rescue does

  • Full inspection of panels, inverter, wiring and penetrations, with a written report.
  • Repairs and inverter replacement, including systems from installers we never worked with.
  • Re-commissioning and NV Energy paperwork if the system was never turned on or was disconnected.
  • Monitoring takeover so someone is actually watching your production.
  • Battery backup retrofit onto the existing array.

Straight answers

Frequently asked

The rep promised my bill would never go past a few dollars. Now it is up. Was I scammed?

Maybe not. On the standard rate you still pay the $18 service charge and the county fee, exports are credited at 75% of retail, and a system sized to last summer's usage falls behind when a pool pump or a second AC shows up. Bring twelve months of bills to the inspection and we show you what the system actually makes against what you use, on paper, before we recommend anything.

My system stopped producing and nobody answers. Is it dead?

Usually not. The most common causes are a tripped disconnect, a failed inverter or a monitoring account that went dark. An inspection tells you which, in writing, before you spend anything on repairs.

Can you honor my old company's warranty?

No one can honor a defunct company's workmanship warranty. What we can do is repair the work under our own warranty and help you claim the manufacturer warranties that are still valid.

Will a repair change my net-metering rate?

A like-for-like repair does not. Adding capacity can, so we tell you before we touch anything that affects your NV Energy agreement.

Do you buy out leases or PPAs from bankrupt providers?

Not directly. We can service the equipment and explain what the bankruptcy notices you received actually mean for your contract.

Request a Solar Rescue inspection

Tell us who installed the system and roughly when. We will tell you what an inspection covers and what it costs before we schedule it.

We usually reply the same business day. Prefer to talk? Call (702) 600-2380. Any contract you sign with us carries Nevada's cover page and cancellation right: three business days, ten if you are 60 or older. Actual utility rates may go up or down and actual savings may vary.

Thanks. We got it and will call you shortly, usually within the hour during business hours.
