Most homes pair one Powerwall with 12 to 48 panels and two Powerwalls above that. We size storage to the circuits you actually want covered, not to the biggest box we can sell.

On NV Energy's time-of-use plan the summer on-peak window is 6:01 to 9 pm, June through September, at $0.473 per kWh against $0.075 off-peak. Panels are done by 8 in June. A battery moves your afternoon into those hours.
NV Energy's daily demand charge, priced on your highest 15 minutes each day, is scheduled for January 1, 2027 and under appeal. Net-metering credits cannot offset it; NV Energy's own estimate is about $12 a month more for solar homes. A battery clips the peak that sets it.
Monsoon storms do not schedule themselves: on August 13, 2026, storms cut power to 7,747 customers after twelve straight days of extreme-heat warnings. Backup keeps cooling, refrigeration and medical equipment running. If your original installer is gone, we can still add storage and take over monitoring. See Solar Rescue.
Straight talk on incentives: NV Energy's residential storage rebate has been closed to new applications since June 2023, and the federal residential credit ended for systems completed after December 31, 2025. The 30% credit still exists only when a third party owns the system through 2027, and it belongs to that owner, not to you or to us. Actual utility rates may go up or down and actual savings may vary.
